Dashuhua, or "tree flowers" in Chinese, is a dangerous yet spectacular show for China's traditional Lantern Festival.

The show is performed by experienced blacksmiths, who pour molten metal onto walls. The molten metal splashes with sparks, ending up looking like trees with golden flowers.

Local people in Nuanquan, Hebei Province have maintained this tradition for over 500 years.
